Beloved makeup brand, Black Radiance, has called upon a few of our favourite beauty mavens to affix them in conversations around Black beauty.
The #BlackBeautyMatters campaign, an expansion of the favored hashtag, not only fosters conversation across the importance of inclusivity for people of color, but additionally encourages consumers to actively have fun and embrace it.
“Black beauty matters because black is gorgeous,” says Black Radiance of VP of Marketing, K.Parris MacDonald. “Black Radiance celebrates the fantastic thing about our history, from the fairest of us all, to the fiercely dark. We wish to have fun you!”
And to start the inspiring campaign, Black Radiance created a video that brings together a bunch of influencers, including Ofunne Amaka (@cocoaswatches), Katrina Duckett (@princess.kaae)and Clarence Montrell (@faceit_slay).

Together with members of the Black Radiance team, they speak about every part from the complexities around darker skin tones and searching for makeup, to learning find out how to accept and be pleased with our uniqueness.
Within the two minute clip, Director of Marketing Claire Dennis also shares, “One in every of the largest misconceptions usually is that Black women don’t wear makeup or that dark skin women don’t need makeup. Women of color do wear color. We love wearing makeup that enhances our skin tone.”
