Lee is constant its streak of partnerships with a recent collaboration.
The denim brand is teaming with the animated TV series “Dragon Ball Z” for an apparel collaboration, marking the primary time the 2 brands have worked together. The gathering offers women’s, men’s and unisex styles.
“A generation of fans were introduced to anime through ‘Dragon Ball Z’ within the ‘90s, and that very same generation grew up wearing Lee,” said Joe Broyles, global vice chairman of collaborations at Lee. “This capsule takes a fun approach to mix authentic nostalgia with trend. We’re excited to introduce it to fans of yesterday and today.”
The gathering is supposed as an homage to the late ‘90s and Y2K culture, utilizing nostalgic images from the early days of the animated series and vibrant colours for a youthful spin. Styles include T-shirts, hooded dresses, drawstring shorts and more.
Standout styles include a graphic camp shirt depicting a picture of the “Dragon Ball Z” Kame house. The hooded dress, which is available in all-black or black and orange, is one other standout style, designed with images of popular characters from the series. Prices range from $35 to $70 and styles can be found on Lee’s website and in stores.
That is the newest collaboration to return from Lee. Last 12 months the denim brand teamed with prepwear brand The Brooklyn Circus for a group inspired by the American West and Black cowboys. Lee has also previously collaborated with the likes of H&M, The Tons of, Alife and others.
