L’Objet Launches Its First Set of Personal Fragrances –

L’Objet is getting personal.

The house fragrance and design brand is moving into the private scent space for the primary time.

The gathering, which launched today, includes 4 nature-inspired eau de parfums: Oh Mon Dieu!, evoking the spirit of Paris in 1969, Bois Savage, harking back to a wet forest scent, Rose Noire, a combination of roses, and Côté Maquis, meant to remind wearers of a sunny Mediterranean day, all $160 or $250.

“I’m extremely inspired and fascinated by fragrance and its effect on us and our emotions, our moods and the way it may well throw you right into a place or space in time. That was the motive behind it [the eau de parfum collection],” Elad Yifrach, founder and inventive director of L’Objet, noted.

Although L’Objet has made a reputation for itself in the house fragrance and design space since its 2004 launch, personal eau de parfums were all the time on the horizon for Yifrach.

“We’ve all the time been in the house fragrance category and, and it’s been a really big passion of mine,” Yifrach said. “As we’ve developed it through the years and began to work with a house nose and really forged this philosophy of wanting to the touch the five senses with all the things that we do, it was very clear that that may be the tip goal.”

Nonetheless, Yifrach desired to take the client on a scent journey of sorts, starting with the house, to make sure each launch was authentic to the brand. A part of this journey was the apothecary, which launched in 2018, bringing bath and body scents to the brand for the primary time.

Just like L’Objet’s approach to design, the fragrances are rigorously crafted with the most effective materials. The brand new eau de parfum collection, which has been in development for the past 4 and a half years, uses top quality raw materials and natural ingredients, which Yifrach identifies as a key differentiator.

“It’s more unique in its approach. It’s the form of richness in experience, but then easy in the way in which that you just perceive what you’re smelling. It’s complex yet easy at the identical time,” he told WWD.

The 4 eau de parfums, in addition to a $40 discovery set, will probably be available on L’Objet’s website, in addition to at Bergdorf Goodman with plans to expand into other retailers in the long run.
