Exclusive: Macy’s and Pure Beauty Salons to ‘Discontinue Their

Pure Beauty Salons, a sequence that operates a few of its locations in Macy’s stores nationwide, is the most recent casualty of retail store closures in 2022. In a press release to WWD on Friday, a representative for Macy’s Inc. confirmed Pure Beauty Salon will now not operate in its stores in 2023. “After careful consideration, Macy’s and Pure Beauty have decided to discontinue their partnership in roughly 20 locations. Pure Beauty Salon’s last day of operation is December thirty first, 2022. Patrick Ta Beauty Takes Minority Investment from Stride –

Patrick Ta Beauty has a recent investor. Stride Consumer Partners, whose partners were early investors in Tatcha, Skinfix, First Aid Beauty and Drybar, amongst others, has taken a minority stake within the business founded by skilled artist Patrick Ta. Terms of the deal weren't disclosed, though industry sources estimate Patrick Ta Beauty’s sales are expected to achieve $30 million in 2022.
