L’Oréal Partners With Clue, a Femtech and Digital Health
PARIS — Because the lines between wellness and wonder proceed to blur, L’Oréal said Wednesday it has partnered with Clue, an app that tracks people’s menstrual cycles, so as to glean a greater understanding of the link between skin health and hormonal changes. In 2012, Danish and German entrepreneurs Ida Tin and Hans Raffauf cofounded Clue. Today, the app has greater than 12 million users in 190 countries. Mental Health Campaign From Bioré
Bioré is the newest beauty brand to tackle mental health. The Kao-owned skincare brand has unveiled a mental health initiative, dubbed the “Get That S–t Out” campaign. Minthub, Maker of Products for Sexual Health, Raises Seed
Shine Ventures has made its first seed investment. The angel investment firm for early-stage start-ups, founded by Jess Hunichen and Emily Ward, the cofounders of influencer talent management agency Shine Talent Group, has partnered with Minthub, a business-to-business company developing white-label products across intimate care, sexual health and well-being meant for use during various life stages.  Terms of the deal weren't disclosed. HydraFacial Partners With JLo Beauty, The Beauty Health Company
Just before announcing its upcoming collaboration with JLo Beauty, Hydrafacial’s parent company, The Beauty Health Company, reported record-breaking first-quarter results when it comes to delivery system sales.  Within the three months ended March 31, the corporate sold 1,849 delivery systems, leading to net sales of $75.4 million, up from $57.5 million in 2020.  The corporate also raised its net sales guidance for the 12 months to a spread of $330 to 340 million, up from a spread of $320 to $330 million in 2021.  Moreover, The Beauty Health Co. saw Google search trends for HydraFacial at an all-time high in quarter one, and now boasts a net promoter rating of 44, up from 40 in 2021.  With the addition of its latest delivery systems,...
