ClearForMe’s Top Trending Skin Care Ingredients within the U.S.

A latest report from ClearForMe indicates women use a median of 168 ingredients across 12 products during their beauty regimen on daily basis. The ingredient transparency platform, which counts Ulta Beauty, Olaplex and, most recently, Amazon, amongst its roughly 400 beauty partners, goals to assist consumers decode these ingredients and their functions via clickable ingredient lists. In tracking the fastest-growing skincare ingredients by consumer inquiries across different markets, ClearForMe founder and chief executive officer Sabrina Noorani found that “natural, moisturizing ingredients are priority for U.S. consumers,” with inquiries about almond oil, aloe vera and avocado oil in cleansers and moisturizers rising to the highest. The Barbiecore trend has made its solution to the at-home hair-coloring game. Preluding the July release of Greta Gerwig’s “Barbie” movie starring Margot Robbie, at-home hair-color brand Hally has partnered with Mattel to launch a group inspired by the famed doll. “The thought originated from the Ulta Beauty team — they told us they were planning on doing full-chain, huge displays around Barbie this summer and wanted a hair dye brand to be an element of that,” said Kathryn Winokur, who founded Hally in 2021 with a spread of demi-permanent, foaming Color Cloud dyes priced at $25.
