A latest report from ClearForMe indicates women use a median of 168 ingredients across 12 products during their beauty regimen on daily basis.
The ingredient transparency platform, which counts Ulta Beauty, Olaplex and, most recently, Amazon, amongst its roughly 400 beauty partners, goals to assist consumers decode these ingredients and their functions via clickable ingredient lists.
In tracking the fastest-growing skincare ingredients by consumer inquiries across different markets, ClearForMe founder and chief executive officer Sabrina Noorani found that “natural, moisturizing ingredients are priority for U.S. consumers,” with inquiries about almond oil, aloe vera and avocado oil in cleansers and moisturizers rising to the highest.
