RED CARPET READY: Brie Larson and Paul Dano are set to serve jury duty at this 12 months’s Cannes Film Festival. They are going to join “Triangle of Sadness” director Ruben Östlund, who won the festival’s top Palme d’Or prize last 12 months and can head the jury this 12 months, festival organizers announced Thursday. French director Julia Ducournau, who took the highest prize in 2021 along with her genre-bending thriller “Titane,” may even join the jury, alongside French actor Denis Ménochet, British-Zambian screenwriter and director Rungano Nyoni, Afghan creator Atiq Rahimi, Argentine director and screenwriter Damián Szifrón and Moroccan director Maryam Touzani. PRADA TREES: Prada’s sustainability credentials are increasingly trickling right down to socially charged projects. Starting in 2023, the posh brand will link with Forestami, a project spearheaded by Milan’s municipality, the Lombardy region and other territorial entities to plant 3 million trees in town by 2030 and safeguard its natural environment. The tie-up, group head of corporate social responsibility Lorenzo Bertelli explained, marks “a step forward reflecting the Prada Group’s attention to the environment and the community where it operates.
