Lululemon Releases Annual Global Well-being Report – WWD

Lululemon on Thursday released its third annual Global Wellbeing Report.  The report looks at well-being through three lenses: physical, mental and social. The report is predicated on a web-based survey conducted by Edelman Data & Intelligence of 14,000 respondents across 14 markets. Most notably the report identifies and analyzes what Lululemon is looking “The Wellbeing Dilemma.” “Persons are increasingly prioritizing their well-being — yet the state of well-being is just not improving,” the report said. Lululemon Powers On, Topping Estimates and Raising Its Outlook

The economic realities of the moment — with frightened consumers, high inflation and high rates of interest — don’t appear to apply to Lululemon Athletica Inc. Shares of the buzzy energetic company shot up 13.7 percent on Thursday to $373.37 after it continued to grow rapidly, topping first-quarter profit and sales projections and raising its outlook for the yr. Lululemon to Swap ‘Dupe’ Leggings for Align Ones

Lululemon wants everyone to have a pair of its Align leggings. Guests who attend a pop-up that Lululemon is hosting with their dupes can leave wearing Lululemon’s Align pants. The brand will host its first experiential event to tackle “dupe culture” with the Align Leggings Dupe Swap being held May 6 and seven in Los Angeles. Lululemon is inviting guests to trade up and swap their dupes for the true thing, once they come to the pop-up store at L.A.’s Westfield Century City Mall from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., PST, while supplies last. Inside Zara, Lululemon Drops for Earth Month, Circular Fashion

A Zara First: Zara dropped its first collection with Circ, the brand’s first capsule using recycled poly-cotton blends after parent company Inditex invested within the fiber-to-fiber recycling company in July. Circ’s tech tackles the long-standing problem of recycling poly-cotton blends. It’s the one platform to successfully separate poly-cotton blended textile waste and get better each cellulosic cotton and artificial polyester. It then turns them into latest fibers and textiles. The corporate goals to scale back the necessity for virgin textiles in the provision chain. Currently, just one percent of poly-cotton blends are recycled.
