With the acquisition of Tom Ford’s company by The Estée Lauder Cos., changes are afoot. Charlotte Blechman, chief marketing officer of Tom Ford International, who has worked closely with the designer since 1995 when he was at Gucci, is leaving Ford’s namesake company, effective May 31. She had been at Tom Ford since 2017, overseeing various departments from marketing to brand image and digital and was chargeable for all global promoting, visual display, customer relationship management, events, marketing, communications and marketing initiatives for your complete Tom Ford brand, including all licensed products comparable to beauty, eyewear and timepieces. Sephora U.S. Names Zena Srivatsa Arnold Chief Marketing Officer
Zena Srivatsa Arnold has been named chief marketing officer of Sephora U.S. She most recently served as senior vp, carbonated soft drinks at PepsiCo. Before that, she held senior marketing and management positions at Kimberly-Clark, Google, Kellogg Company and Proctor & Gamble. Sephora Americas president and chief executive officer Jean-André Rougeot noted in a memo seen by WWD that “with a knack for disruption, Zena brings extensive experience in not only constructing and growing brands, but driving initiatives that reach clients digitally. She brings that rare experience of each traditional consumer marketing and performance marketing.” Her appointment will take effect early summer, and follows a period of worldwide C-suite reshuffles at Sephora. John Galantic, president and chief operating officer of Chanel Inc., is stepping down from his role. He plans to pursue other profession opportunities. He'll proceed to guide the corporate until June 30. Galantic joined Chanel in 2006 as president and chief operating officer of Chanel Inc. In 2017 he took on the extra global leadership role to ascertain and oversee the Integrated Platform team, recently renamed Global Digital Services and in partnership with Bruno Menard, to grow Chanel.com in addition to the corporate’s digital capabilities. Finnish skincare brand Lumene has tapped Adrian Innergård as its recent chief executive officer. Innergård hails from Perrigo, where he served as CEO of Perrigo Northern Europe, and oversaw global direct-to-consumer operations.
