Element Eight Raises Capital, Ex-Sephora CEO Martin Brok Joins
Luxe oxygenated skincare brand Element Eight has closed a $6 million funding round and announced a slew of recent appointments, including former Sephora chief executive Martin Brok as a board member.  The brand raised $2.5 million from existing investors and an extra $3.5 million from latest investors, pushing the entire raised thus far as much as $7.9 million.  “With 45 percent of the round coming from surgeons, dermatologists, and PhD scientists, we have now a powerful validation of the scientific acumen of the brand. Lauren Perez and Allie Glines’ Brand Incubator Raises
FounderSix, the influencer beauty brand incubator behind Allie Glines’ Ravie Beauty, Alex Renee’s Ary World and Lauren Perez’s Anablue, has gained a recent investment. The incubator, which was founded in 2020, has raised $12 million from KD Capital. The firm has previously invested in OkCupid, ShopRunner, Spot Hero and Teleon Health, amongst other corporations, in accordance with its website. “We’re quite different from brand incubators in the wonder space. You generally get ones which can be either manufacturing-focused or investment-focused. SuperOrdinary Raises  Million in a Series B Round
Beauty distributor and most recently brand incubator SuperOrdinary has raised $58 million in a Series B fundraising round, bringing the corporate’s valuation to greater than $800 million.  The corporate, which makes a speciality of distribution in China in addition to on Amazon and TikTok, attracted investors including Manzanita, Alliance Consumer Growth and Demira GateUpper90 to the round, while founder and chief executive officer Julian Reis also participated.  In 2021, it received a minority investment from Alliance Consumer Growth and existing investor, the Puig family. Personalized Beauty Brand Proven Raises  Million in Series
