Molteni&C Unveils Its Renovated Milan Boutique
MILAN — High-end furnishings and design business Molteni Group upgraded its Molteni&C store in Milan’s Brera district from store to boutique status, with a redesign by famed architect Vincent Van Duysen. Molteni Group on Monday said the Milan boutique is operated by showroom partner A.Puntostadio and is positioned on a corner where Via Solferino meets Via Pontaccio, a spot where fashion and design stores abound. Contained in the space is characterised by a palette of calming tones, floors laid with travertine and Molteni&C’s latest in wonderful kitchens and furnishings with pieces created in collaboration with major international designers and architecture firms, including Van Duysen. No Expense Spared: LVMH Unveils Tiffany’s Renovated Fifth Avenue Flagship
NEW YORK — Construction staff are shuffling out and in of scaffolding on 57th Street in Tiffany Blue-colored crewneck tees. A 12-foot Daniel Arsham bronze, nihilistic Venus de Milo-type sculpture looms in a cloak of bubble wrap and contractors cantilevered inside a forklift use toothbrushes to scrape away at residue caught behind sculpted balustrades. Moschino Opens Door to Its Recent Renovated London Store
LONDON — Moschino’s London store between Recent Bond Street and Regent Street has had a renovation and it’s open for business as usual. The London flagship has undergone a clean and minimal facelift with the Italian fashion house’s quirks still intact, similar to the juxtaposition of geometric floor designs with Botticino marble and dark green avocado stone sourced from Brazil; buttery yellow-lacquered wood shelves; custom lighting bars in matte brass; Roman columns changed into seats and product displays, that are an homage to the brand’s founder Franco Moschino, who built the tables in his heyday.  “The Moschino London store renovation is a strategic rollout of our latest store concept.
