Intercos Group Secures Financing for ESG Targets

MILAN — Intercos Group has signed an agreement with Italian bank Intesa Sanpaolo for a 30-million-euro financing to support the achievement of its ESG targets. The sustainability-linked revolving facility agreement will expire on Dec. 31, 2024. The environmental, social and governance targets identified by the corporate include renewable energy consumption, the acquisition of micas minerals — which in cosmetics and skincare are used so as to add shimmery and glowy effects — through sustainable sources and the further improvement of the ESG rating assigned to the group by EcoVadis Sas, a specialist in assessing the sustainability and CSR performance of firms. ShopZetu Secures Million in Pre-seed Funding

The Kenya-based e-commerce start-up ShopZetu has lined up $1 million in pre-seed funding. The concept for the corporate was created in 2019 and the corporate was launched two years later by founders Marvin Kiragu and Wandia Gichuru. ShopZetu offers fashion, footwear, beauty and accessories from an array of brands for ladies, men and kids. The extensive assortment features global, in addition to African-owned brands. Its recent capital infusion was led by Chui Ventures, which supports tech-driven start-ups across Africa which are being led by local founders. Inventive Designer Secures Times Square Exposure

Many designers toil away for years to be able to afford Times Square promoting, however the little-known label Amehl is making a splash there in an unusual way. The corporate’s founder Amanda Mehl, who's an interdisciplinary artiist, filmmaker and designer, crafted a movie that can play through the top of this month outside of 10 Times Square. Titled, “There Is No ‘I’ in Team,” the short features 50 characters modeling looks from the Mehl collection. Mehl acted in, directed and shot the two-minute clip in her Brooklyn, Latest York, apartment through the pandemic.
