Glow Recipe is bringing boundary-setting front and center for its next initiative.
The brand is hosting its first in-person summit on Saturday at The Revery Los Angeles. Titled “Strengthen Your Boundaries,” the daylong event will include six panels focused on skin barrier education and boundary-setting in several facets of life like relationships, funds and social media.
“We wish to be our community’s trusted BFF,” said Glow Recipe cofounder Sarah Lee, who has dubbed the brand’s loyal consumer base the “Glow Gang.” “We wish to maintain things real; we’re all going through mental health challenges, and so showcasing real advice from individuals who have passed through these journeys and may provide tangible, practical advice around them is our goal.”

In an interview together with her stepmom Gabrielle Union, Zaya Wade opened up in regards to the negative comments she received from people after coming out as trans. The 14-year-old said there was commentary around how she should present herself and she or he selected to reject that advice.
“As a trans person, once I got here out, there was a variety of hateful comments about how I should grow my hair out long or fit right into a certain version of femininity, despite the fact that that’s not true in any respect,” she says. “That type of advice is just attempting to break you, but don’t let it.”

As a part of a recent treatment, which may have men immediately self-combust when walking near a girl, two individuals caught fire in Goop’s Hamptons outpost last weekend. Like much of the brand’s schemes, the science has yet to be properly explained, but local police are accrediting the phenomenon to rubbing alcohol, “which had been added to candles, causing a big explosion and flames.” Unfortunately, each men’s burns were quite serious, but possibly this shouldn’t have come as a surprise on condition that Gwyneth Paltrow’s vagina-scented candles have instigated house fires – much to the dismay of Elton John, who owned “so much” of them.
