Last 12 months, Philip Manghisi, a former buyer for Elyse Walker and Jeffrey stores, launched his first retail store in Scottsdale, Arizona, where he now lives. Called Wunderkind, a reference to Manghisi’s retail buying skills when he worked in Latest York for the now shuttered Jeffrey, the three,600-square-foot space in a small shopping mall debuted with uncomplicated luxury as its theme. The placement carries a mix of designer ready-to-wear, contemporary collections, luxury shoes and purses, wonderful jewelry, eyewear and residential accents by Alaïa, Alexander McQueen, Balenciaga, Bottega Veneta, Chloé, Dries Van Noten, Elder Statesman, Gabriela Hearst, Givenchy, Ganni, Nili Lotan, Raquel Allegra and Re/Done, amongst others. Hermès Reopens Nanjing Store With Lion Dance, Taoist Ritual
SHANGHAI — As a substitute of hosting a star-studded ribbon-cutting event, Hermès launched its Nanjing store last Sunday with an auspicious ceremony featuring a Taoist priest. Initially opened in 2010, the brand new store inside Deji Plaza in Nanjing takes up a more distinguished location spread over two floors. Designed by longtime Hermès collaborator, the Parisian architecture firm RDAI, the shop highlights the colour beige, which defines town that served because the capital of assorted Chinese dynasties, and the colour indigo, echoing the local Nankeen dyeing tradition. After several TikTok users posted that Morphe stores were shuttering, the makeup brand has confirmed that its retail stores across the U.S. can be closing their doors. “We've got made the difficult decision to shut all Morphe stores within the U.S. We're without end grateful to our store teams for his or her passion, talent and dedication over time,” the brand posted on Twitter. Morphe noted that customers can proceed to buy the brand online and at select retailers, while its stores outside the U.S. will remain open.
