Michelle Yeoh Wins Kering’s 2023 Women in Motion Prize

WINNING STREAK: The rewards carry on coming for Michelle Yeoh. Hot off an awards season that saw her scoop an Oscar and a Golden Globe, amongst other prizes, the Malaysian-born actress has been named because the winner of Kering’s 2023 Women In Motion Award. The ceremony will likely be held in the course of the French luxury group’s annual dinner to honor women in cinema on the Cannes Film Festival, which runs from May 16 to 27. Rosângela Rennó Wins Kering Women in Motion Prize for Photography

PARIS — Kering has named Rosângela Rennó the winner of its 2023 Women in Motion Award for photography, in recognition of the Brazilian artist’s work on discarded images rescued from various sources, from flea markets and web photos to institutional archives. She is as a consequence of receive the prize on July 4 in the course of the photography festival Les Rencontres d’Arles, which is able to host the primary major exhibition of her work in France.
