As all the time, don’t hearken to anything I’m saying 😉 and browse all manufacturer’s instructions before using any products, especially gel. So a lot of y’all really helpful I try a rubber base coat to stop my longer natural nails from breaking so I did a bunch of research and selected this one from a fellow content creator / business owner @Nailzkatkat . I’ll keep you updated on the way it lasts and if it actually goes well this is perhaps my latest base and I’ll just paint nail polish over it? I’ve seen other nail artists try this so I dunno. In any case, I hope you had an ideal week this week:)

I just bought rubber base and a couple other gel products from born pretty.i can't wait to try it. My nails are tore up normally but more so from acrylic & polygel. Hopefully this will help .

I switched to rubber gel when I heard that its flexibility can be useful for weak or soft nails, as typical base coat is more rigid and can peel right up if the nails are prone to bending – causing lifting and general damage in the process. My extensions have definitely felt more secure and lasted longer since I made the switch!

I'm a nail tech and when you have nails this lenght rubber base works amazing, but when your nails gets longer i recommend using builder gel 😊❤!

Rubber base is not good for your nails cuz it has acids in it. They will become weak and twisted. And it’s a soft material so your nail won’t become stronger
Try builder gel instead. Has no acids, so no damage to your nails. And it’s hard as polygel

Bendy is good, bendy is less likely to break. That’s why strengtheners don’t work, they make the nail brittle and cause more breaks. Rubber base coat works as a shock absorber, you have the perfect nails to use it with.

rubber base is the only thing i use now. my nails used to break all the time and would not hold acrylics or other applications, they would always lift. but not this base 💕💕
