A former marketing consultant for Sephora, Eagan will aid the brand’s growth with the retailer, where it launched in 2019, along with evolving Skinfix’s marketing strategy. PARIS – A latest 12 months often heralds latest executive structures, as Balmain Beauty, IFF, L’Oréal France and Byredo can attest. Balmain Beauty has appointed Hans Dorsinville as its first creative director. The manager is thought for his breakthrough work over the past 25-plus years championing diversity, inclusion and empowerment, which chimes with Balmain creative director Olivier Rousteing’s ethos. Most recently, Dorsinville was chief creative officer at Gotham, a fashion and wonder branding agency. PARIS — L’Oréal is expanding its reach into the green sciences by taking a minority stake in Microphyt, a French biotech company, to develop recent cosmetic solutions. The investment was made through Business Opportunities for L’Oréal Development, or BOLD, the group’s enterprise capital fund. L’Oréal and Microphyt are starting to work together on progressive lively ingredients to open recent beauty territories, based on Anne Colonna, head of advanced research at L’Oréal. “We're going to put all of the progressive power of Microphyt, including the actives they have already got, with all the ability of L’Oréal to judge each the efficacy and the security, and to formulate,” she said. “We actually need to synergize to go one step further.” One other goal with the partnership...

L’Oréal Sets Record for Environmental Achievement and Transparency –
PARIS – For the seventh consecutive yr, L’Oréal has been granted a triple-A rating for environmental achievement on climate change, forests and water security by the worldwide environmental and non-profit organization, CDP. L’Oréal is the one company worldwide to have been given such a rating for seven years in a row. 1000's of firms were scored after filling out CDP’s 2022 Climate Change, Forests and Water security questionnaires. L’Oréal was amongst 12 firms to have achieved a triple A rating. “In 2022, over 680 investors with over $130 trillion in assets and 280 major purchasers with $6.4 trillion in procurement spend requested firms to reveal data on environmental impacts, risks and opportunities through CDP’s platform.
