Dior Lands in Orlando, the Sound of Sephora, Ciara

DOWN IN ORLANDO: Advancing its agenda of brick-and-mortar retail growth, Dior has opened within the Mall at Millenia in Orlando, Florida. The shop, which opened Friday, is very decorative, consistent with the luxurious brand’s standard interior store design based on the Dior flagship at 30 Avenue Montaigne in Paris. The ladies’s area is crammed with textured decorative paintings in several shades of off-white, silver and light-weight gold, and there's a touch of color. The ladies’s VIP room is roofed in pink toile de Jouy. The boys’s space includes off-white decorative paintings, wood and a touch of blue to create a warm atmosphere, and the facade is developed with a recent concept, called “Pleats.” Its folded metal sheets, perforated with Dior’s signature cannage...

After a couple of exit interviews this week, Bartlett will start his latest gig on July 10. The change of pace can even give him the prospect to spend more time in Recent York City, where he continues to construct his own design profession on the side, he noted. Parsons’ aesthetic, approach to DEI, sustainability and revolutionary design made the choice a simple one for Bartlett, who continues to design in numerous capacities. In his...

Jared Leto Talks ‘Tron,’ Paul Dano Teases ‘Dumb Money’

The long cobblestone walkway and grand arches of Paris’ Invalides museum make for a reasonably dramatic entrance. Jared Leto, Noomi Rapace, Jack Harlow, Paul Dano and Taeyang were among the many celebrities who made the walk on the Givenchy show Wednesday. Leto is attending his favorite fashion week shows — he’s a Givenchy regular — before taking per week or so off. Then it’s back to work, first on the filming of the “Tron” remake after which on to Lollapalooza in August along with his band 30 Seconds to Mars. “It’s a movie I loved as a child,” he said. “It’s beautiful to enter into that world. I mean, it’s a childhood fantasy for me. It’s gonna be a superb one.” He...
