The dating one is because they want the idols to keep focused on doing their job and they also dont want them becoming pregnant or anything so they can keep going and they also are afraid some fans will turn against them if they start dating someone
The interactions between different genders is because they dont want people shipping the idols even though it already happens and it is also a bit like the dating one when it comes to fans turning against them if they think they are dating
Also the weight standards are made because they are afraid some people will hate idols if they are over the weight standard and say they are ugly which could even effect the whole group which could lead to serious things happening or death threats which could also happen from shipping or dating
Also the LGBTQ+ one is because some people are homophobic so death threats and stuff could be said or done but they want the idols to hide things like that incase that does happen because trust me i know how bad homophobes can get 💀
Just incase you read this and think i am saying these shouldnt be normalised or anything im not i actually really want these to be normalised because you know the idols are humans too so they should be allowed to live equally as everyone else but i just wanted to explain why most companies make these rules because i know some people dont understand why these are against contracts and rules so i just wanted to make it a bit more clear but these idols arent even treated like humans sometimes its so unfair but im so proud of these idols getting this far ❤

I 100% agree with all but the some of the problems with LGBTQIA+ (not agenst it) is if they debut in a group the company wont know which gender to put them in (like trans) ofc they can always be in a mixed gender group but idk/also I THINK the reason why comppanys don't allow idols to get tatoos is bc there are a lot of under aged fans (or something like that) and like getting tatoos is a not a bad thing but not a good thing not a great influence on fans/people, I'M NOT HATING ON THIS CREATOR, I'm a great fan of @wingyu7859 !!OK!!

but some of these are not because of the industry but the korean culture, for example #5 it is normalized but people prefer those who have kbs, but it's not like they're saying that if you're short you're not normal, #9 nowadays in korea there's a lot of people that thinks lgbtq+ idols are normal but don't stan them, #10 in korea is really normal having done some surgeries, if you're from a country where plastic surgeries are not that common that it will be weird to you, #11 on tv shows they can't show idols' tattos bc most of the tattooist does not have the right licences so most of them are illegal and since kids watch these shows they don't want to lead them towards crime and lawlessness

I agree with letting idols date or even marry, it's no doubt that idols date or possibly even marry, just not publicly and I understand why because of the saesangs and other crazy "fans"(I'm using fans loosely here. In my opinion, you're not a fan if you can't stand your faves dating and or marrying. Same thing with saesangs except, it's not cute to stalk somebody, idol or not). I also agree with the "diets" some idols did or even still do. It's dangerous and literally for some, almost cost them their lives. Also, with the hair color changes every comeback, I've never understood it tbh. If the idol wants to do it, sure go for it, but don't force them to do it and so often, that'll damage their hair. Same thing with the blue contacts?? I never understood why they have blue contacts?? I was a baby army at the time and was convinced that Jimin's eyes were just naturally blue.

The word "Idol" itself is already wrong.
It's a subject of praise, popularity, power and object of worship.
It's used for Gods and Goddesses and mostly are worshipped using statues since the Gods or worshipped are in an above world usually or below earth(Hades & Persephone for example).
This goes for most religions.
The worshippers are called fanatics.
The idea of idol is beyond human standard that's why they have too much restrictions and requirements.
If we treat them as "Artist" than idols, and call ourselves "Supporters" instead of fans, and live up to it by treating them with admiration as same human beings.
There can be slight changes.
But it will be hard to change an industry if the people managing it are close minded people. HYBE probably made a lot of changes in the industry and other agencies did too.
But fans should also mature and grow instead of staying with the same toxic mindset while aging.
