Authentic Brands Group has identified the mark in addition to the brand partners that it’ll work with for its Global Citizen initiative.
As reported in February, the brand development and marketing company is partnering with Global Citizen, the world’s largest international advocacy organization, to spur customers to make use of their purchasing power to drive change. The deal is a component of the nonprofit organization’s Take Motion campaign and can include an array of co-branded products, marketing activations and donation round-up programs. A percentage of the acquisition price of the co-branded merchandise will go to Global Citizen.
“When consumers purchase items featuring the Take Motion mark, they’ll know they’re supporting positive global impact and are encouraged to develop into a worldwide citizen,” said Natasha Fishman, chief communications officer and executive vp of selling for Authentic.
First up will likely be Authentic’s Reebok brand followed by the corporate’s Aéropostale, Nautica and Lucky Brand labels. The Reebok x Take Motion capsule will include co-branded men’s and ladies’s footwear, apparel and accessories. The gathering will launch in October in Reebok stores and online in addition to at select retailers.
To advertise the initiative, Portia Blunt, vp of worldwide apparel for Reebok, will speak in regards to the capsule on the Global Citizen Now motion summit in Recent York on Friday.
Global Citizen’s primary mission is to finish extreme poverty around the globe. Over the past decade, the organization has deployed $41 billion in commitments on its platforms to affect greater than 1.15 billion lives. The nonprofit was established in Australia in 2008.
