Camilla Cabello Talks L’Oréal Women of Price and Beauty

Camila Cabello — a L’Oréal Paris spokesperson since 2017 — is an everyday at the corporate’s Women of Price event.

“I remember the primary 12 months I ever attended Women of Price, I used to be doing a lot press and the promotional circuit on the time, I barely had the energy to go to a different event,” Cabello said. “Immediately upon arriving, I used to be so glad I got here because I used to be so inspired by all the opposite incredible women involved. From then on, regardless of what else I had occurring, I knew I needed to make this event and show up for these women who’re real heroes.”

2023 L’Oréal Paris Women of Price honorees attended the 18th annual L’Oréal Paris Women of Price Celebration in Hollywood on Nov. 16. Along with Cabello, fellow stars Helen Mirren, Eva Longoria, Andie MacDowell and Aja Naomi King attended the ceremony.

Cabello’s been specializing in getting back in contact with nature, continuing her skincare regimen and galvanizing women leaders of tomorrow.

As a longtime pop star since her days as a member of Fifth Harmony, Cabello’s had a dedicated fan base of young women and girls looking as much as her. One among the explanations she likes being involved with L’Oréal Paris is to encourage the subsequent generation of ladies leaders, she said.

“I feel within the butterfly effect where we’re all interconnected,” Cabello said. “Everytime I leave the Women of Price event, I come out feeling like I need to do more for the world. Everyone positively impacts one another when one person does one good thing. I’ve had individuals who’ve been my fans since they were kids, and I’ve got to run into them and see them blossom from shy young teens into adults who’re completely happy and thriving. Lots of them have really found their paths as women, and it makes me so completely happy to see.”

She lists journalist Krista Tippett, director Sofia Coppola and fellow actress Kerry Washington as women who encourage her.

“At all times devour knowledge. Between books, film and podcasts, there are such a lot of incredible ways to learn. Learning makes it exciting to be alive,” Cabello advised.

Cabello said she feels environmentalism is one of the pressing problems with our time. In 2013, L’Oréal Paris decided to handle the the event of its beauty through a world sustainability program, “Sharing Beauty With All,” announcing tangible sustainability goals toward 2020. In 2020, the corporate launched L’Oréal for the Future, outlining its sustainability goals toward 2030, similar to reaching carbon neutrality. In September, the corporate launched a 15 million-euro climate emergency fund to help those affected by natural disaster strikes.

“The ecological crisis and the loss biodiversity is one in every of the largest problems with our time,” Cabello said. “In my very own life, I attempt to buy as eco-friendly as possible and search for sustainable products. I also work on having a relationship with nature and having fun with things like mountain climbing and the outside. We’d like to have a relationship with our planet to grasp why we’d like to guard it.”

Outside of her work with L’Oréal Paris, Cabello has also been within the studio working on latest music, although she declined to verify any forthcoming album or song collaborations. Her latest film, “Trolls Band Together,” where she voices the character Vivia, was released in theaters on Nov. 17, and opened at number two on the box office, grossing greater than $30 million domestically.
